H@me Website Advertised Events Cancellation policy
Event Cancellation by the organiser (H@me Events)
If H@me cancels or postpones one of its own events (advertised on https://www.homeandeat.com/events) then a full refund will be provided to ticket purchasers. Exceptions to this policy include, but are not limited to:
Events that have been forced into delay or cancellation resulting from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (other than one arising from or related to directly or indirectly from volcanic ash), strikes, lockouts, pandemics, epidemics, lockdowns, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery.
In these instances H@me will endeavour to reschedule the event in question OR provide another event of similar value to the ticket holder.
Guest Cancellation
We understand that sometimes things happen in life that result in you not being able to attend an event you have purchased a ticket for. The following policy sets out terms to allow us to operate events and accommodate ticket holders unforeseen eventualities as much as possible.
Timeline and policy:
Cancelled 28 days or over before the event date - full refund provided, equal to the total cost of the purchased ticket.
Cancelled 8-27 days before the event date - option to select an alternative event from our events calendar (within 2 months of original event date), where the ticket purchase value will be transferred towards the cost of the new event ticket. NB Any refunds will be subject to General Managers discretion (notice of any refund decision made will be given within 5 days of receipt of the cancellation request).
Cancelled 7 days before the event - No refunds will be provided.
In any instance H@me Events prohibits the resale or transfer of events tickets. Tickets must be presented at entry to all events. Failure to provide tickets will result in refusal of entry to the event.
Promotional Tickets policy:
On the occasion when free promotional tickets are advertised in H@me Events competitions, the following rules apply:
The winner of the competition has 24hr to claim their ticket, if the ticket is not claimed within this period the ticket will be put back into the promotional pot and the winner will lose any rights and ownership to said prize.
As part of the ‘claiming’ terms the winner can assign the ticket either to themselves or someone else (names and details will need to be specified).
Once the ticket is claimed and assigned then any resale or transfers of said ticket are prohibited.
In addition, there are no refunds for promotional tickets.
